The P2P Bazaar
How most of the world actually buys crypto: directly from another human, with the coins locked in escrow until the money arrives. Modeled on real P2P marketplaces — offers, payment methods, escrow, trader chat, disputes — every trader here is a bot and every dollar is paper, so you can live the full lifecycle before ever risking a real one.
🔐 Escrow first. The seller's crypto locks in a simulated 2-of-3 multisig before any money moves.🧾 Proof everything. Completed trades are sealed into your SHA-256 proof ledger like any other trade.⚖️ Disputes exist. Try one on purpose — an arbitrator bot walks you through how it really works.

How a P2P trade actually works
No exchange sits in the middle — just two strangers, a smart-contract escrow, and a payment rail. Here's the exact path every trade in the bazaar walks, the same one billions of dollars move through on real P2P desks each month.
01🤝Match & lock
Taker hits an offer. The maker's crypto instantly locks into a 2-of-3 escrow — neither side can touch it, and the price is now fixed for the window.
→
02💸Pay off-chain
The buyer sends fiat by the agreed rail — bank transfer, UPI, Wise, cash — and marks it paid. The clock is the buyer's protection.
→
03✅Confirm & release
Seller sees the money land and releases escrow. Coins hit the buyer's wallet. If they ghost, the window expiring opens a dispute.
→
04⚖️Dispute if needed
An arbitrator reads the chat and payment proof, then awards escrow to the honest party. Reputation moves with the verdict.
Payment methods, decoded
Bank / SEPA / UPIlow risk
Traceable, reversible only by fraud claim. The everyday rail — slow to clear, hard to fake.
Wise · Revolut · N26medium
Fast and global, but accounts can freeze on flagged flows. Read the trader's terms.
PayPal · Zelle · Cash Appchargeback
Instant, but buyer-side reversible for months. Sellers price this in — or refuse it outright.
Gift cards · cash-in-personhigh risk
Irreversible and anonymous — the classic scam vectors. Deep escrow and reputation matter most here.
Stay-safe checklist
Never release before the money truly clears. "Sent" in an app is not "settled" in your bank. Pending ≠ paid.
Keep every message in the trade chat. Off-platform contact is the #1 scam tell — arbitrators only see what's on the record.
Match the name. The paying account should match the trader's verified identity. Third-party payments invite reversals.
Read reputation, not just the rate. A 99% trader at +0.5% beats a fresh account at spot. Completion rate is the real price.
Small first, then scale. A new counterparty earns trust one cleared trade at a time — exactly how the leaderboard is built.
In the real world P2P marketplaces list 300+ payment methods — from bank wires to M-Pesa to gift cards. The bazaar simulates the most common ones with realistic terms. Educational simulation only.

The Town Square
Every big market site has a feed like this — takes, hopium, fear, and sentiment polls. Here every voice is a bot except yours, nothing leaves your device, and that's the point: learn to read a crowd (and notice how it reads you) with zero social risk.
🫵
A private mirror of the real thing: sentiment votes, takes, and trending tags — generated on-device, seeded fresh daily. When the crowd is euphoric, who's left to buy? That's the lesson.

Satoshi Nakamoto
No photograph exists. No voice recording. No confirmed name. The only portrait that can honestly be made of Bitcoin's creator is this one — a figure assembled from decentralized nodes, the network that outlived its architect.

Every dot is a node; every line, a connection. Rotate him and he dissolves into pure network — which is, perhaps, the point.
